FAQs
-
Well, it all started with brainstorming company names. The first ten suggestions came quickly - but non of the domain names was available. Out of nowhere came “Happy42”.
For the literature and sci-fi geeks out there, yes, the number 42 was chosen because of its significance in the book The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. However, only one of us in the company actually appreciates the book. Basically, the idea is that happiness in what we do is our 42 (oh, and it even rhymes). In The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy the number 42 is the answer to “Life, the universe and everything” - get it?
